Featured Wedding Inspire-r: Style Me Pretty

In search of inspiration, during my sisters’ and then my own wedding, I hit all of my favorite blogs looking for all the Indian weddings I could find.  It was fun but nonetheless time consuming.  To save you a step, and to make it a bit easier, we’ve added a section featuring real Indian weddings from our favorite (western) wedding “inspire-rs” to get your stylish senses flowing.  Each does such a beautiful job featuring weddings of various cultural backgrounds- and now you can find links to them all here, in one place! What a beautiful and elegant affair!

A great color combination of red, orange and white…and a dash of purple.
A beautiful mandap with simple draping and rose garlands at each base.

The highlight?  A beautifully designed, unique, reception gown.  Fit for gals like me who always dreamed of not only wearing a sari on her wedding day but also wearing a white wedding gown.  If you are like me, and this gorgeous bride, this is definitely the way to do it! What a creative bride and designer!
